3 Reasons Why RoboForm is Worth Buying

I think we all can agree that there are many passwords out there for us to remember.  I mean how does one keep up with the ever-growing need to create new passwords for every online (and some offline) account that we create?

Well, there is such a thing as a password manager.  And what a password manager does essentially manages all our passwords for us.

I’d like to talk about one such password manager, RoboForm, and why RoboForm is worth buying.

That’s essentially what we’re going to unveil for you today in this article, and give you the short answer as to why this is.

In fact, I’ll give you three reasons why RoboForm is worth buying.  Some you may have already guessed.

Here are my three reasons.

Convenience

why RoboForm is worth buying? Convenience

This is one of the first things that jumped out to me about getting a password manager like RoboForm.  The convenience of having software that remembers all your passwords, and does auto-fills when filling out forms online is a game-changer.

It just makes life so much easier.

I’ll be honest here, being the techie that I am, I have developed my own little system of password management with Google Sheets.  Because I have so many different accounts online and needed something right away to remember all these accounts, I decided to get creative and build my own little password keeper system.

Because I could figure something out, using my tech-savvy, that seemed like the best option at the time.  Instead of going out to find a 3rd party like RoboForm to help me with my passwords, I instead took matters into my own hands.

Here’s the thing…I had to go out and create and maintain this little system I created with Google Sheets.

It became a pain after a while, trust me.

But for the average user, that’s simply too much to have to deal with.  You need something simple and effortlessRoboForm will get you that for your passwords.

The point is that “you” won’t have to deal with all of that with RoboForm.  It’ll take care of all that for you.  All you need to do is navigate to the website you need to log into, and RoboForm will take care of the rest.

Just make to remember the master password to get you logged into RoboForm itself.  You’ll get prompted quite often for that password, so be sure to put it somewhere you can retrieve it when you need it.

Ease of Use

Why RoboForm is worth buying - Ease of use

The user interface for RoboForm is very simple.  Anyone, and I do mean anyone can learn to use this software in no time.

As I’ve demonstrated in my review article on RoboForm, once you’ve installed the software (which takes about 10 to 15 minutes to do), you’ll be up and running in no time.

Once again, all you really need is to remember the master password, which allows you to log into the software itself.

If you happen to lose that password, you’re pretty much SOL.  Maybe.  I”m sure you can contact their support team and have them either recover the master password or reset it for you if needed.

But I can honestly say after using RoboForm for some time that there’s a very little learning curve on how to use the software.

Literally, you install it, log in with your master password and it’ll do the rest for you in terms of saving your login credentials.

I’m sure there are several other password managers on the market.  However, I’m not sure the same can be said about them in terms of ease of use.

We can definitely say that about RoboForm.

Affordability

RoboForm - Affordable

Given that the free trial is only limited to 30 days, and certain features are limited, is it worth upgrading to the Pro version of RoboForm?  The simple answer is yes.

For the Individual package, you’re only looking at $23.88 for the entire year.  You can save even more if you choose a 3 or 5-year contract.   Most services today charges more than that monthly for their services.  When breaking this down to the monthly figure, you’re looking at about $2 per month.

I mean, how much cheaper can get?

What can you buy today for just $2.00?  With what inflation is today, hardly anything.  But you’re getting a whole password manager tool to help you with all your passwords.

I’m just saying…

If you wanted to create an account for you and some friends or family, they also have a Family plan.  The family plan gives you up to 5 users and only costs $47.75 for the year.  This would be great in a situation for your mom or dad, who can never seem to remember any of their passwords.

RoboForm would be a great solution for them.

I can speak from first-hand experience on this one.  Because I’m the techie in the family, I’m always summoned by my mother to help log her into her email accounts.  Be it Yahoo or Google

Every time she gets a new phone or needs to check her email on her computer because she’s expecting an important email, I’m at her becking call.

Needless to say, this gets old pretty quick, and I’m left feeling like I want to pull out my hair!

If you deal with something similar to my scenario, then the family plan will be ideal for you.

In Closing

Roboform I think is a great option for anyone having difficulty keeping up with the many different passwords they have.  If you’re old school and like to write your passwords down in a little book that you carry with you, RoboForm may be a good solution for you.

If carrying that book with you does work for you, and you like that system you have going, then sure keep it.  In cases like those, I always like to ask the question, “what happens if you lose that book?”

If you’re tired of having to remember a new password every time you create a new account, RoboForm may be a good solution for you.  Instead of making all your account passwords the same (a very easy way for hackers to hack into your accounts), create unique passwords, and let RoboForm do the rest for you.

So, for my final conclusion as to why RoboForm is worth buying, is a simple fact that it’ll make managing your online accounts and passwords easy, simple, and very affordable.
